Breaking the Glass Ceiling- The Role of HR in gender parity at leadership levels
Introduction The workplace lacks sufficient female presence at executive levels although organizations have become more inclusive toward diversity. Women face a mysterious roadblock referred to as the "glass ceiling" as one of their main obstacles to reaching top executive roles. The functioning of HR specialists is crucial to bring down these obstructions while boosting leadership gender equity(Society for Human Resource Management, 2022). Understanding the Gender parity Challenge Women make up a major percentage of global workforce employment yet they occupy minimal senior leadership positions. Career advancement for women faces obstacles because of workplace cultural prejudices together with scarce mentorships and inflexible rules and procedures. The solution to these problems needs organizational dedication and strategic action under HR leadership( Wellable ,2024).
